I started working on some cute witch stickers for myself. In this post I’d like to share the process with you. 🙂 I love stickers, I already made a few sticker sheets in the past mostly for myself. I also had a failed attempt in opening a sticker shop. I had too few stickers to start with. Well, live and learn. Now I first want to make these stickers only for myself and maybe as gifts for family.

Also I’m personally not into the thought of making fan arts and popular stuff just to have a sticker shop up and running.

But I went off course already. Let’s go back to the witch stickers. Shall we!

I first had the idea to draw Gertrude the fluff witch based on a really old spread from one of my bullet journals.

Sketches of Gertrude the fluff witch.

Than I went on to draw the stuff she would use to create the little fluff creatures and potions. I thought these things would look lovely in my journal spreads as decorations.

I absolutely love the fluffy cat I drew. I want to put him on the sheet too, but you’ll see, that he couldn’t make it onto the first one.

After the sketches I started to draw the little potions on my watercolor paper, which is 10,5 x 15,5 cm. Not a fancy paper, but perfect in size for this project. At first I drew a lot of sparkles for each sticker, than I realized that I don’t want too much extra stuff and too big stickers. I just want more stickers, which needs more space, that is took by all the extra frill. In the end I draw a lot of glasses with potions, a bag, a few flowers, leafs and some fluffs, because of course, it’s a Fluff Witch’s potion kit. 🙂

I lightly erased back the sketch of these stickers, than went onto painting it. First I just played awkwardly with watercolors and tried to put up some basic colors. I honestly got stuck at this stage for a week or two, because I didn’t know what to do, what direction to go with them.

Luckily I got a surge of inspiration and a no game day put up for myself, so I was able to finish it in one day. 😀

Here are the stickers in their beautiful finished form:

Then I scanned these little beauties and made them into stickers.

It was a tiny bit of a challenge, because I used Affinity Photo a long time ago, so I didn’t know where were some options at first. But they turned out absolutely gorgeous.

They are so adorable. 😍

Also, yes I cut them out by hand with a precision knife. It’s tedious, but it’s better than cutting them out, then trying to peal them off with my short nails. Plus, there’s no problem with stickers falling to the ground and struggling pick them up with no nails.

So, there you go. Here’s how I made my little Fluff witch stickers.

Right now I have a lot of cute little sticker sheets to cut, use up and gift away.

I’m also thinking on making more sheets and try again with the sticker shop I wanted to do. What do you think about it? If you have any ideas for stickers, let me know and I might make them. 😉

That’s it for now. 🙂

See you next time. Until then, have a nice day!

Bye~ ❤

Hy everyone!

Finally I’m done with the logo animation, I already send to the teacher for evaluation. Now I’m only waiting for the judgement.I did my best so I hope for the bare minimum. X”D I’m not so good at motion design. Especially not in logo animation. :I Let’s say the truth I’m not a logo designer. Maybe one day I will be, bit right now I’m not that great. Everyone starts somewhere.

But there’s a (I think one year old) illustration I finally finished. :I I made it quick so you will see where I took more work into it totally needlessly and where I just painted it broadly and where I just left it sketchy. Here we go!

we_will_die_in_style

Aigail and Arnold from my one and only zombie themed story which has no proper title. X”D

I started it in my digital painting fan period and I used Photoshop back then. For the finishing I switched to Clip Studio Paint and I just used one of the basic watercolour brushes with some changes in the density and amount of paint and the color stretch. I say it’s not perfect, but at least done. :”D And for fellow artists: Every time you work on a piece of art don’t try to make it totally perfect, only done. I know the feeling when you just check your finished works and there’s only a few of them, because you want it perfect. I’m still in this stage but I have to admit that if I have a lot of waiting to be finished and only a few perfect and done work than I won’t get any further.

Daily wisdom, check!

Now, that I have more free time I will get started the redrawing of the Evoco. Yeah you read it right. I’m restarting the Evoco because I want it in a different style and with a new starting. If you don’t know it then here you can check it: https://tapastic.com/series/Evoco

I will delete the current pages and start over again the posting. 🙂 I only need to paint the comic properly in the exact style I want to. 😀

I’m done for now. Have a nice day, night until the next post. 😉

Hy!

I’m here with WIPs…. again. :I I know, I know! I promise there will be a finished one too. Hopefully.

So now here’s an update for the illustration from yesterday.

sword_and_shield_wip2

Here I rotated the sword a little bit. I did not liked the previous position.

sword_and_shield_wip3

And than I scaled the shield to make it look like more live like. Little cleaning on the background and the equipment too.

So yeah…. Still need to finish. :I I will have to “sharpen” that blade and give some life to that shield. The background needs a little touch too and I’m planning to put more grass in the foreground.

(( If you’re bored with these updates please let me know. :’) ))

And I just started another sketch. Yes… again. -_-” Inspiration just coming to me with new ideas no matter where I’m with the other works.

TA-DAAMM!!!

An illustration with background! *Q* It’s really rare from me, because I worked more on drawing characters, than backgrounds and anything else and because of it I’m really bad at drawing animals… I will have to practice them too. :I But back to the sketch. I’m trying to paint here a foggy highlands. Trees and rocks wont be to hard, I already drawn them several times, but the fog will be the real challenge! I will search for some tutorials to make sure it will be more life like. 🙂 I never painted and I don’t really know how to catch it correctly.

Challenge accepted!!! *^*

And about the character from the illustration… she’s Trishna, one of my OCs. She’s got a new look since then.

To get a little reminder she looked like this:

I think I made a gallery here for her story too. :I I should check it…

No… not yet. Another thing added to my to-do list! Yeyyyyy. :’D

Now I’m going back to the logo animation. Deadline is coming. D:

Good night everyone! 🙂 Have sweet dreams. And for the others who just start the day, don’t give up! You’re all great! 😀
